Are you wondering "what does it mean?" or "what the--?" Here’s a likely story:
Right now I feel the need to integrate my energies & speak with one voice, one purpose. What's my purpose? So far I've come up with:
to speak with the light of this world
Now this can mean I talk to it (the Light) & we have conversations; or, when I speak, I speak with light sort of like the way we speak English; or, I intend my work to express the presence of light inside everything...
This reflection of light is THE ESSENCE I feel my self/my work to be.
In Spanish the word for light is “la luz." If you hold those letters up to a reflective surface it reads “zulal.” Except the z is actually backwards! So I started using a backwards z on my work as a sign of me. Since “zulal” is taken as a domain name, I put the backwards "z" together with light & the qualities of light & found “zhine" (like "shine" but with that z-thing I mentioned...) Consequently, zhine-studio.
